The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include a self Cleaning vacuum-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it before moving along.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first go. It can also vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can need. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best vacuum mop combo known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can control it even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The control panel includes a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
